Zachary Pelsor

Zachary Pelsor, a loving son, a devoted brother and a generous friend, age 21 of Powell, TN passed suddenly from our hands into the loving arms of God on Monday, April 29, 2013 peacefully at his home in Powell, TN. Zachary inspired others with his generosity and thoughtfulness that few others could match. He displayed his love for others through kind gestures and comforting words. He had a deep love for children and was often found showing loving kindness to those in need. His favorite pass time was grilling out with his dad and enjoying fine cuisine. He enjoyed playing sports, working out, boating on the lake, vacationing and spending quality time with his family and friends. Zachary is preceded in death by his grandfather, Louis Pelsor; great grandmother, Geneva Gillette; great grandparents, Willard and Inell Smith; and cousin, Stephanie Benton. Zachary is survived by his parents, David & Maria Pelsor; brother, Josh Pelsor & Shelby Gowey; niece, Kenna; grandfather, Joe Trantanella; grandmothers, Melvina Trantanella, Maxine & Al Christy, and "Uncle" Barb Pelsor; Uncle David & Mona Trantanella and their children, Joseph and Jennifer; Aunt Leah & Keith Heifner and their children, Alayna, Amara, and Isaac; Uncle Mike & Jennifer Pelsor and daughter, Taylor; Uncle Mark & Missy Trantanella; Aunt Debbie Benton and daughter, Rebbeca; girlfriend, Amber Garofalo, all of his Lee cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends. Pallbearers include Josh Pelsor, David Trantanella, Joseph Trantanella, Micah Evans, Jacob Ford, Russ Massengill, Tyler Powell, Cody Shockley, Scott Bradley, Cody Woods, and Kelby Cruze. Zachary's family will receive his friends on Friday, May 3rd from 5:00 - 8:00 pm with his celebration of life following at 8:00 pm at Eagle Bend Apostolic Church in Clinton, TN with Rev. David Triplett and Rev. Clyde Hooks officiating. His interment will be Saturday, May 4th at 1:00 pm at Grandview Memorial Garden in Clinton, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Eagle Bend Apsostolic Church for the Zachary Pelsor memorial scholarship.
