William H Williams

William H. Williams (Bill), age 84 of Clinton, TN passed away peacefully in his sleep early on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home after a long courageous battle of cancer. Bill was born on March 28, 1931. He was loved by all and will be missed. He was a native of Anderson County. Bill was a graduate of UT, and served on many community projects in Anderson County. He was of the Methodist faith. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William H. Williams Sr. and Mary; very special friend, Martha Ivens. Bill is survived by his children, Bill, Austin, Sara, and Beth; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. In honor of Bill’s wishes there will be no services for him. Bill’s family has asked in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to The University of Tennessee, Memphis, The Health Science Center, College of Medicine, Department of Anatomy, and Neurobiology, 855 Monroe Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38163, or flowers taken to the grave where his mother, Mary Nell Williams remains. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
