Susie Marie Collins

Susie Marie Collins, age 96 of Heiskell, TN passed away on Friday, January 31st, 2025, at the Sacred Ground Hospice House in Knoxville, TN. She was born October 10th, 1928, to the late John Columbus and Rachel Elizabeth Wolfenburger. She loved her family and friends. Susie was a very strong-willed person.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband James Collins; daughters, LaVern Perry and Linda Wilkerson; son Jimmie Collins; and Sister Frances Cooper.

Susie is survived by 3 sons, Jerry Collins and wife Dorothy of Maynardville, TN, Larry Collins and wife Audrey of Oak Ridge, TN, and Barry Collins and wife Lori of Halls, TN; son in law David Wilkerson of Heiskell, TN; sister-in-law Wanda Collins of Heiskell, TN; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host other relatives and friends.

Visitation for Susie will be on Monday, February 3rd, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with her funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Pastor Dwayne Fortner officiating. Graveside service for Susie will be 3:00 pm on Tuesday, February 4th, 2025, at the New Loyston Memorial Garden in Maynardville, TN.
