Stanley Martin Lively

Stanley Lively age 74 of Powell, TN passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN. When his health was permitting he attended Little Community Baptist. Stanley was always grateful to help out all churches. His church families were considered his extended family. Stanley always said, “When passing he wanted to be remembered as one who loved the Lord”. Stanley was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Etta Mae (Seiber) Lively; sisters, Bernice Woods, Lucille Owens; and niece, Thelma Rose Fry. Stanley is survived by his wife, Peggy (Hill) Lively of Powell, TN; brother, Leon (Marie) Lively; brother in law, Ray Owens; sons, Kerman Lively of Heiskell, TN, Tim (JoAnn) Lively of Rocky Top, TN; daughter, Fay (Dave) Eddleman of Farragut, TN; grandsons, Joshua (Bree) Barnefske of Knoxville, TN, Nathan Ritchie Farragut, TN, and Rick Lively of Cummings, GA; great granddaughter, Charlotte Barnefske of Knoxville, TN; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to fellow ministers and friends for their assistance, compassion, and care. Stanley’s family will receive his friends from 6pm – 8pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 with his funeral service to follow at 8pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Jack Burnette, and Rev. Doug Walden officiating. Stanley’s interment will be at 1pm on Wednesday January 29, 2016 at the Anderson Memorial Gardens in Clinton, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
