Quentin Vowell

Quentin Vowell age 92 of Jacksboro, TN passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at his home. He was born in Briceville, TN on January 19, 1932 to the late Paul and Juanita Vowell. Quentin was a veteran of the U.S. Army. May 8th, 1954 he married the love of his life Betty Lynn Parks. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, and great-great grandfather. Quentin loved to fish, play the guitar and sing. 

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Betty Lynn Vowell.

Quentin is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Buck of Columbus, OH, Judy Perry of Norwalk, OH, Taunya (Hal) Wirtz of Glendale, AZ, Quentina Vowell of Columbus, OH, and Edwina Robinson of Lima, OH; brothers, Calvin (Helen) Vowell, and Curtis (Lynda) Vowell; sister, Carolyn (Aubrey) Goins. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Lunch will be served at 11:00am prior to his memorial service at the Common Ground Coffee Shop, 119 E. Central Ave. Lafollette, TN 37766. Quentin’s memorial service will be on August 19th, 2024, at 1:00pm at the Hope & Stand Church, 942 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, TN 37757 with Pastor Billy Smith officiating.
