Marjorie Henderson

Marjorie Clark Henderson age 81 of Beaver Dam, KY formerly of Clinton, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Owensboro Regional Health Hospital in Owensboro, KY. Marjorie was born in Robertsville, TN and lived in Clinton for the majority of her life. She was on one of the first women's basketball teams in Anderson County and served as co-captain. She loved to read her Bible and had read many other books. Marjorie also enjoyed crocheting, sewing, going on church trips, talking to her friends on the phone, and watching Kentucky & Tennessee basketball. She was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hardy & Mary Clark; husband, William L. Henderson; infant son, Anthony Henderson; brother, Ray Clark; sister, Nellie Slover; grandson, Brandon Osborne and beloved dog, Harley. She is survived by daughters, Brenda Osborne & Kenneth of Clinton, TN and Beverly Humphrey England & Alan of Beaver Dam, KY; grandchildren, Travis Wiggins & Jennifer, Holly Golden & Steve and great grandchild, Tyler Wiggins; special friend, Caroline Wilder and beloved dog, Benjie. Marjorie's family will receive her friends on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 5 pm - 7 pm with her celebration of Life immediately following at 7 pm all in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Tim Tindell officiating. Her interment will be Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 11am at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton.
