Margaret Eleanor Biddle

Margaret Eleanor Catlett Biddle, of Oak Ridge, TN, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.

Margaret was raised in Kodak, TN and was the youngest of five siblings. She married Roy E. Biddle, on December 11th, 1954, and they were blessed with 68 years together, until Roy’s passing in 2022. They had 3 sons, 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Margaret had a green thumb and maintained an impressive collection of plants, both indoors and out. She and Roy enjoyed entertaining and playing cards with their close friends. Margaret loved children and ran a daycare in their home for many years. She fondly shared stories about those days and even maintained a relationship with some of the families for the rest of her life. Those who knew her know she was one of a kind.

Her loved ones are comforted by the fact that she’s experiencing true joy and peace in heaven, reunited with her devoted husband and departed parents, siblings, and eldest son R. Gregory Biddle. She is survived and remembered by her son Anthony, daughter-in-law Christie, granddaughter Brynn, and son Bradley.

There will be no services for Mrs. Biddle.
