Lois Harner

Lois Harner, 80, took her journey with the angles on Dec. 27, 2012 at her home in Andersonville surrounded by her family. She fought her battle with cancer with gracefulness and dignity in which she lived her entire life. A private service is planned for immediate family only. She was born in Dayton, OH. She was in the finance business before she moved to Tennessee and she co-owned and operated Sequoyah Marina in Andersonville for almost two decades. She leaves behind two daughters, Sue Henley of Cookeville and Lisa Rock of Norris, and four grandchildren: Shanna Henley Sampson and Husband Chuck, Tiffany Henley, Zach Rock and Sam Rock and two great grand-daughters, Gracie and Rowan and many nieces and nephews and also a sister Caroline Smith and a step-mother Iris Moore in Ohio. She will be sadly missed by those who loved her but welcomed into heaven by her parents and her step-father Ralph Baker, Sister Sharon Sheets, Brother Bruce Collinsworth, son-in-law Leonard Henley. In lieu of flowers, please give to her favorite charity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Jones Mortuary in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
