Lloyd Jones

Lloyd William Jones, age 67, from Clinton, Tennessee passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Lloyd was born May 13, 1946 in Jefferson, North Carolina to parents Kermit Clifton and Okla Fay Jones. He is survived by children - Cindy Woodring, Christopher Beatty, and Ashley Jones Salem; a sister - Carol Johnson; grandchildren - Phillip Woodring, Leigh Ann Isaacs, Alexander Beatty, Elijah Beatty, Andrew Beatty, and Lydia Hope Beatty; great -grandchildren - Ariah Isaacs and Braxton Woodring; a nephew - Barry Johnson; a niece - Sherry Barker; and a close friend, Pat Crisp. Lloyd's family will receive his friends on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm with his funeral service following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Pastor Luke Kidwell officiating. His interment will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 30th at the Ashelawn Memorial Chapel, Gardens and Mausoleum in Jefferson, NC with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
