Julian R. Allen age 87 of Clinton,TN passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at his home inClinton. Julian was a long time member of the Masons joining Liberty219 in Baltimore in 1955. He later transferred to Alpha Lodge 376 inClinton in 1987. He became master in 1992 and served faithfully until he became ill. Julian served our country in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Bogue. He served during WWII in the Atlantic and Pacific theaters. Julian was a gentleman's gentleman. He loved his son and all his family dearly. Julian was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Althea Allen; brothers, Harry, James, and Edgar Allen; and his first wife, Imogene Allen. He is survived by his wife, Betty Allen of Clinton,TN; son, Randall Allen of Clinton,TN; stepsons, Frank LaMarr & wife Kay of Lebanon,TN and Kenneth LeMarr of Clinton,TN; stepdaughters, Linda Summers & husband Bobby of Clinton,TN, Carolyn LaMarr of Knoxville,TN and Fonda Bledsoe & husband Emanuel of Mt. Juliet,TN; grandchildren, Christopher & Heather Allen and great grandchildren, John & Brooklyn. Julian is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 nephew, several step grandchildren & step great grandchildren. The family would like to say a special thank you to Betty Summers for all of the care given to Julian during his illness. Julian's family will receive his friends on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 6-7pm in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN with a Masonic funeral service to follow at 7pm. Julian's interment will be Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 11am at Grandview Cemetery in Clinton, TN with full military honors. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
