Judy Lee Smith

Judy Lee Smith passed away early Tuesday morning, November 29, 2022. She passed away at her home in Clinton, Tennessee, with her son by her side. Judy was born in Clinton, TN, on January 1, 1956, to the late Molly and Earnest Powell. She is proceeded in death by her brother Douglas Powell of Clinton.

She is survived by her brother, Joe Powell of Oliver Springs, TN and her sister, Sue Fox of Clinton, TN; her children, John K. Smith, and Kelli R. Smith, as well as their partners, Tammy Braden and Tyrone Irons; Her grandchildren Dee Smith, who blessed her with a great-grand child Damari Williams, as well as Taya Smith and Shemar Smith-Irons; among many more family and friends. Judy worked at Norwood’s Early Head start, where she shined her light on so many children and faculty. She had a love for travel, animals of all kinds, Elvis Pressley, and more than anything, her family. She lived an adventurous life, leaving smiles and full hearts in her wake.
