Jerry Martin Edwards

Jerry Martin Edwards, age 72 of Andersonville, Tn. went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was retired from CUB in Clinton. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Powell, Tn., loved the outdoors, westerns, classic cars, fishing and church activities. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Jerry was born in Knoxville, Tn. on March 16, 1952 and was the son of the late Bud Underwood and Wanda Love Underwood Edwards, and his father, Austin Edwards. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Monnie Champion.

Jerry is survived by his wife: Karen Long Edwards; son: Austin Edwards and wife Rhiannon of Oliver Springs, Tn.; sisters: Debbie Hill and husband Rob of Clinton, Tn. and Tonya Love and husband Robert of Knoxville, Tn.; grandson: Dawson Seiber; his faithful companion Bella; special extended family members, Tommy Martin and Raymond Mason, and many other nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Edwards Family on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary in Clinton, Tn. with Rev. Billy Moore and Rev. Jimmy Davidson officiating.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Jellico Honor Guard at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2024 in the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Knoxville, Tn.
