Jerry Elliott Burnette

Jerry Elliott Burnette, age 54, passed away on Sunday March 9, 2025, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Jerry was born on February 6, 1971, in Lake City, Tennessee to Jack Burnette and the late Cloia Burnette. Jerry loved his family, and loved the outdoors, He was an avid UT and Atlanta Braves fan. Jerry enjoyed fishing, camping and swimming and he loved Rock & Roll music. Jerry was of the Baptist faith.

Jerry is preceded in death by his mother Cloia Burnette. He is survived by father Jack Burnette of Clinton, TN, wife Anjeanette Burnette of Knoxville TN, daughter Christina Braden and Jalen of Caryville TN, son Michael Loper and wife Kevina of Tazwell, TN, brother Mark Burnette and Stacy of Clinton TN, sisters Charlotte Kittrell and Mickey of Kingston TN, Melissa Delisle and Leo of Pensacola FL, 2 special cousins Teresa Gross and Brenda Wilson, grandchildren Steeley, Ridge and Colter Loper and several nieces and nephews and many loving family and friends.

The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday March 11, 2025, in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary from 6 to 7 pm with the funeral following at 7 pm. The family will meet at Jones Mortuary on Wednesday March 12, 2025 at 10:15 am to go in procession to Oak Grove Cemetery in Rocky Top, TN for a 11am graveside.
