Jeanette Barnette

Jeanette Barnette better known as "Jean" age 79 of Clinton, TN passed away Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Summit View of Lake City in Lake City, TN. Jean loved working in her yard and with flowers. She always kept a nice home. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She loved life and had a good sense of humor and always had a million dollar smile. Jean was a member of Pleasant View Baptist in Clinton, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil & Sarah McCoy; 5 brothers; 6 sisters; and 1 grandson. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jerry "Joe" Barnette of Clinton, TN; son, Gerald Steven Barnette & wife Susan of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Paige Pickens & husband John of Knoxville, TN. She also leaves behind 1 great grandson, 1 great granddaughter, niece and care giver, Donna Thorndyke & husband Jim of Clinton, TN; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
