Janice Fay Williams

October 15, 1946 — September 29, 2024

Clinton

Janice Fay Williams was born October 15, 1946 in Eton, GA. She moved to Ohio, then eventually settled in Tennessee. She worked as an LPN for over 40 years, finally retiring from Windwood Health and Rehab. Fay always had a servant’s heart and took care of everyone before taking care of herself. She was a generous and loving soul, and would give anything she could to anyone in need. She had a way of making everyone feel special, and was always the first one with a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on. Fay had a heart for Jesus and was a devout Christian woman who lived out loud for the Lord. She always let her loved ones know that she was praying for them. She showed the love of Jesus to anyone she ever talked to, and no one left her presence feeling sad or unloved. Every holiday season she would be in the kitchen making homemade candies and goodies for friends and family, especially the children in her life. Seeing her loved ones happy brought her such joy.

Fay is preceded in death by her husband of 18 years, Joe Williams, son Anthony “Tiny” Ward, brother Larry Stokes, sister Virginia Gail Hurst, and great-nephew Caiden Burgett. She is survived by her sister Carol Dotson; sons Kenny Ward, Adam (Kat) Williams; grandchildren Abram and Meadow Williams; nephews Brian Wilcox, “Big” Joshua Scott, “Little” Joshua Scott; nieces Brandy Smith, Rachel Garland; great-nephews Colton Burgett, Abel Smith; special friends Jackie Robinson, Eula Beeler, Frank (Linda) Wallace, and many extended family members and church family members. Special thanks to the staff of Methodist Medical Center for the great care they showed Fay in her final days.
