Gary Wayne Hooks

Gary Wayne Hooks, age 60 of Powell, TN passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at his residence. Gary enjoyed spending time with his daughter Harley. He loved building Star Trek replicas. Gary was the owner of New Haven and ran multiple businesses throughout his life.

Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Brissette; step fathers, Ray Hooks and Herbert Brissette; brother, Clyde Hooks; and aunt, Betty Hicks.

He is survived by his daughter, Harley Hooks of Powell, TN; son, Randy Snyder; special family friend, Jason Waddell of Powell, TN; and a host of other nieces, nephews and friends.

The family of Gary will be receiving friends on Monday, September 30, 2024 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary.
