Delford & Delford Junior Marlow

Delford Marlow age 73, and Delford Junior Marlow age 38, both of Knoxville, TN passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 2, 2013 due to an automobile accident. Delford enjoyed fishing, country music, and wrestling. He was born on July 25, 1939 in Briceville to the late Starl Marlow & Martha Brown Marlow. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Clara Bell Marlow; granddaughter, Cynthia Marie Jeffers; son, Delford Junior Marlow; sisters, Mary Viola Marlow, & Ethel Marlow; brother, Delbert Eugene Marlow. He is survived by his daughters, Darlene & Randy Hensley of Knoxville, TN, Penny & Dennis Pass of Knoxville, TN, Becky Galvin of Knoxville, TN, Nancy Hutchinson of Knoxville, TN; sisters, Susie & Alvin Daugherty of Clinton, TN, Lula Mae Cooper of Lake City, TN, Emily Sharp of Harriman, TN; 9 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, many very special nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Delford Junior was born on December 8, 1974 to the late Delford & Clara Bell Cooper Marlow. Delford Junior enjoyed playing his guitar and country music. He loved fishing & wrestling. Delford did not meet a stranger and was friendly to everybody, he also was a jokester. Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his grandparents, Starl & Martha Marlow and Fred & Mary Cooper. Delford Junior is survived by his daughter, Haley Marlow of Lake City, TN; sisters, Darlene Hensley & husband Randy, Penny Pass & husband Dennis, Becky Galvin, and Nancy Hutchinson; many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Delford & Delford Junior's family and friends will meet for a memorial service on Tuesday, May 7th at 7:00 pm at Red Hill Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN with Rev. Tyler Cunningham and Rev. Jack Burnette officiating. Their interment will be private. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jones Mortuary, 375 N.
