Curley Barton

Curley T. Barton age 68 of Clinton, TN passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a long time member at Mt. Sinia Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. He loved his family and friends. Curley enjoyed working on his Cadillac, and walking. He enjoyed listening and dancing to the 60's music. He was a gun and knife enthusiast. Curley worked at Allied Steel in Clinton, after that he retired from Methodist Medical Center. Curley was preceded in death by his parents, Nevie & Classie Mae Barton; and brothers, Nevie J. and Isiah Barton. Curley is survived by his brother, Lincoln Barton & wife Marcia of Clinton, TN; sister, Betty B. McKinley of Clinton, TN; special Aunt Inez Johnson of Knoxville; and close friend, Oscar Moser. Curley's family will receive his friends on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 1:00 - 2:00 pm with his funeral service following at 2:00 pm at Mt. Sinia Baptist Church in Clinton, TN with Pastor William Caldwell officiating. His interment will follow his service at the church cemetery. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
