Cloia Rene Burnette

Cloia Burnette age 73 of Clinton, TN passed away on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and enjoyed spending time with her family. Cloia loved the Lord, going to church, having bible studies at her home when she wasn’t able to go to church, and was of the Baptist faith. Cloia was preceded in death by her parents, James and Birdie Mae Marlow; brothers, Arnold Marlow, infant brother, Eugene Marlow, J.D. Marlow, Tom Marlow, Carl Marlow, Charlie Marlow; sisters, Willa Mae Lisenbee, Gladys Hawkins, and Lee Opal Hawkins. Cloia is survived by her husband, Jack Burnette of Clinton, TN, had God permitted, Cloia and Jack would have celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on July 5th; sons, Mark Burnette and wife, Stacey of Clinton, TN, Jerry Burnette of Clinton, TN; daughters, Charlotte Kittrell and husband, Mickey of Kingston, TN, Melissa Burnette Hayes and fiancé Leo Delisle of Knoxville, TN; brother, Clyde Marlow and wife, Mary Sue of Frost Bottom, TN; sister, Sue Bumgardner of Lake City, TN; grandchildren, Justin and Jody Kittrell, Matthew and Jake Burnette, Nicholas, Emily, and Allison Hayes, Christina Burnette, and Michael Loper. Cloia also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Cloia’s family will receive her friends on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 6:00 – 7:00 pm with her funeral service following at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. Jimmy Lindsay and Rev. Brian Brown officiating. Cloia’s interment will be Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 9:00 am at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Oak Ridge, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements
