Claude Jeffers age 70 of Caryville, TN passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Lafollette Medical Center in Lafollette, TN. Claude was a member of Little Cove Creek church in Caryville, TN. He loved fishing, and most of all playing with his grandkids. Claude was preceded in death by his parents; William Earl and Della Jeffers. Claude is survived by his wife; Anna Jeffers, Caryville, TN. Son; Claude Jeffers Jr. Caryville, TN. Daughters; Lena Darnell Jeffers McCulley & husband Bucky, Caryville, TN. Penny Elaine Jeffers Martin & husband Danny Ray, Oklahoma. Sister; Lena Fay McGhee, Caryville, TN. Grandchildren; Hunter Hugh, Colton Sean, Jayden Riley, Haley Ann, Benjamin Roy. Special Niece; Tessa Faith. Claude's family will receive his friends on Friday, November 23, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with his funeral service following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. C.H. Beard and Rev. Bill Vance officiating. His interment will be Saturday, November 24th at 11:00 am at the New Vasper Cemetery in Caryville, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.
