Angela (White) Wetz age 36 of Knoxville,TN passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her residence. She was a loving wife and loving mother of her two girls, Erica & Bridget. Angela was a licensed LPN. She enjoyed scrapbooking and loved her dogs, Angel, Damien and Gabby. She was a huge Alabama fan.

 Angela is survived by her husband, Jerome Wetz of Knoxville,TN; parents,       Eddie & Joann White of TenMile,TN; daughters, Erica and Bridget Treadway of Harriman,TN; step daughters, Kayla and Rachel Wetz of Sweetwater,TN; sister, Kathy Tuttle & husband Danny of Ten Mile, TN, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Angela’s family will receive her friends on Saturday, March 31st from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with her celebration of life following at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Bro. Billy Tuttle officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.  

 

 

Seiber, Maggie

March 22nd, 2012

Maggie Seiber age 78 of Clinton, TN passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Maggie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, canning and gardening. She enjoyed helping others and donated her time at the Community Action Center for 25 years. She was of the Baptist faith. Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, Clais and Gracie Roysden; Damon Seiber the father of her children; sons, David Seiber (Crockett), Ronald Seiber, Daniel Eugene Seiber, Damon Seiber and Ramon Seiber; brother Doug Phillips (Ducky).

 She is survived by: son, Jerry Jackson & wife Kathy of Lake City, TN; daughters, Doris Adcock & husband Ed of Coalfield, TN, Edie Seiber of Clinton, TN, daughter in law, Angie Seiber of Briceville, TN; sister, Louise Bazel of Clinton, TN. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, special friend, Lillian House and all of her other dear friends at the Clinton Towers, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Maggie’s family will receive her friends on Saturday, March 24th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with her funeral service following at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Rev. David Dial officiating. Her interment will follow her funeral services at Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, TN. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements. Jobe, Ronnie

Ronnie Jobe age 63 of Lake City, TN passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Ronnie was a veteran of the United States Army who proudly served in Vietnam. He loved NASCAR, hunting, fishing, gathering with friends, and being with family. Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Maude (Bill) Jobe; brother, Jackie Jobe and sister, Carol Duggar.

Survivors: wife, Sandra K. Jobe Lake City, TN; son, Chris Jobe and wife Melissa Lake City, TN; daughter, Tammie Ridenour and husband Anthony Clinton, TN; brothers: Johnny Jobe and wife Georgie Lake City, TN, Jimmy Jobe and wife Gwen of Virginia; sister, Louise Newman Knoxville, TN; grandchildren, Hollie Beck, Luke Ridenour, and Chasati Jobe; special friend, George White and a host of other relatives and friends.

 Ronnie’s family will receive his friends from 6-8pm on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary. His interment will be Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 2:00pm at Jarnigan Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Freddie Bean officiating. Ronnie will receive full military honors. Golden, Harold

Harold Golden age 63 of Lake City, TN passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at his residence. Harold was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother. He was a dedicated soldier of the 101st airborne out of Ft. Campbell, KY from where he retired. Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Loraine Golden.

He is survived by his wife: Mary Golden of Lake City, TN; daughters, Donna Poarch & husband Michael of Clinton, TN, Michelle Barnard & husband Jeff of Clinton, TN, Tamassa Versey & husband Tony of Ashlend, KY, Becky Toney & husband Gene of Clinton, TN, Lei Williams & husband Jeff of Greenback, TN ; brothers, Charles Russell Golden of Clinton, TN, Ronald Dean Golden of Clinton, TN, Richard Dean Golden; sister, Patricia Jane Altum & husband Robert of Clinton, TN. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild soon to be born, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Harold’s family will receive his friends on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm with his funeral service following at 8:00 pm in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Pastor Chris Thomas & Rev. Bud Cook officiating. His interment will be Monday, February 20th at 3:00 pm at the Sunset Cemetery in Clinton, TN with full military honors. Maples, Cora Mae

Cora Mae Maples age 77 of Clinton, TN passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at Golden Living Center – Windwood in Clinton,TN.  She was born Cora Mae Jones to Ruth Catherine Jones and Robert Jones.  Cora married Arthur Maples of Lake City, TN and raised her family in the Marlow Community where she was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church.  She was a hairdresser and owned a salon in her home in Marlow for eleven years.  She later trained and worked as a Unit Secretary at Methodist Medical Center until she retired.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ruth Catherine Jones; brother, William Jones of Georgia and sister, Reba Webb of Clinton. 

Survivors: son, Ronald C. Maples & Beverly of Lake City,TN; daughter,               Katherine Parten & Randy of Clinton, TN; grandchildren, Kelly Maples of Tallahassee, FL, Ryan Parten & Amanda of Clinton,TN and Nick Parten of Knoxville, TN. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. 

The family wishes to acknowledge and thank two very special friends of Mrs. Maples whom she had come to know and love for many years now, Alice Brummett and Christine Gregg.  

Cora’s family will hold a graveside service at Anderson Memorial Gardens on Friday, February 10, 2012 at 2:00pm with Rev. Barry Ariaz officiating.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to First Baptist Church Oliver Springs Youth Program, P.O. McKinney, Harold

Harold E. McKinney age 77 of Heiskell, TN passed away Tuesday, February 07, 2012 at home after a long battle with cancer. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Deep Springs Baptist Church. He was a retired boilermaker from local 453. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Jetholet McKinney; son, Gene McKinney; brother, Ronnie McKinney and sister, Irene Johnson.

 He is survived by:  daughter, Diane and Jimmy Miller; special Friend, Shirley McKinney; grandchildren, Jamie Miller, Carrie Hooks, Missy Crowe and Josh McKinney and 10 great grand children; brother, Junior and Louise McKinney; sisters, Sandra McKinney, and Geraldine and Dee Beeler; special brother in law,  Don Cawood; sister in law, Joyce McKinney. And a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the family and friends that helped out during this difficult time. 

Harold’s graveside service will be Friday, February 10th at 11:00 AM at the Sartin Cemetery with Pastor Allen Giles officiating. Jones Mortuary in Clinton, TN is in charge of all arrangements.

Joy Beth White age 62 of Clinton, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge,TN.  Joy was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clinton.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University and her teaching license from the University of N. Iowa.  Joy loved reading & going to yard sales.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay & Reta Partridge.

Survivors: Husband, Noah White- Clinton,TN;  Sons,  John White-Oregon, WI, James White & Tina-Warner Robins, GA,  Jacob White & Amy- Powell,TN; Daughter-in-law, Valerie White-Beaver Dam, WI; Brother,         Ken Partridge & Kathy-Independence, IA; Grandchildren, Elijah, Anna, Paige, & Elora White, Patrick & Ryan Rowell, Jaclyn & Mackenzie Pope.  Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Stacy Lou Hill age 29 of Lake City, TN “WENT HOME” on Thursday, December 29, 2011. Stacy loved to read Psalms 27; it was her favorite passages of scriptures. She will be forever missed. Stacy was preceded in death by her grandfather Hubert Bell.

She is survived by son, Isaiah Hill of Lake City,TN; daughter, Hannah Hill of Lake City,TN; parents, Billy and Patty McMahan of Lake City,TN; brother and fiancé, Michael Hill and Nicole Daniels; grandmother, Claudine Bell Dykes; nephew, Logan Hill; grandparents, Mack & Janie Hill; father, Randy Hill. Stacy also leaves behind half brothers & sister:  Daniel, Matthew, and Tori, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Larry Snellings Sr. age 59 of Clinton, TN passed away suddenly Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Larry was of the Baptist faith.  Larry had worked at Modine for 36 years and 4 months before the plant shut down. Larry enjoyed life and doing for others and making them laugh. All those that were close to Larry were aware of his great integrity and character. Larry enjoyed giving special nicknames to all his family and friends. He enjoyed gulfing, collecting guns and knives. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.M. & Allien Snellings; grandparents, Ralph & Lillian Thurman and Harve & Cynthia Snellings.
