SFC (Ret) George R. Bunch age 69 of Clinton TN, passed away on Thursday morning August 26, 2010 at his residence in Clinton. SFC (Ret) Bunch served 20 years in the U.S. Army Special Forces and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran. After retiring from the military he retired with the United States Postal Service in Clinton,TN. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Beverly Bunch; parents, Lindsey and Julie Bunch; several brothers and sisters.

Survivors: Wife, Maggie Jo Bunch of Clinton, TN; Daughter, Donna Spradlin of Clinton, TN; Son & Daughter in law, Mark & Gerlinde Bunch of KY. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren, Adam, and Cody Spradlin, Tanja, Justin, and Sydney Bunch along with numerous nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.

George’s family will receive his friends on Sunday August 29^th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Jones Mortuary with his funeral service following at 8:00 PM in the chapel with Rev. Wayne Phillips officiating. John Smith age 55 of Clinton, TN passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. John was a life long member of First Baptist Church in Clinton, TN. He was an avid movie fan. He was a Carson Newman graduate in 1977. He was voted employee of the year in 2009 at Double Tree Hotel in Oak Ridge. He was loved by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. John & Elizabeth Smith.

Rev Frank E White age76, of Clinton TN., went to be with Jesus on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 8:55AM peacefully in his sleep. Frank was a Korean Vet. He was married to Billie Faye Foster White on July 8, 1955. Rev. Frank White pastored several area churches in the 70’s and 80’s. He enjoyed fishing, ginseng digging, hunting and was an avid bee keeper. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mossie White; sisters, Bessie Rutherford, Cleo Brooks, Loretta Gentry, Edna Stooksbury and Francis Hatmaker.

Christopher Robbins age 27, of Clinton TN, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at his residence. Christopher was a kind and loving person. He would put others needs before himself.

Patricia Vaughan age 66 of Clinton TN, passed away suddenly on Friday morning August 20, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge TN. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Clinton Lions Club and enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leander and Manetta Beyer.

Tracy Brewer age 38 of Clinton, TN departed this life Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN surrounded by her family. Tracy was a member of Dutch Valley Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Brewer; mother, Judy Williams; grandmother, Hazel Raby.

Charles Sterling Jones age 81 of Powell, TN passed away Sunday August 15, 2010 at his residence. Sterling was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved East TN and the mountains, and enjoyed fishing and golfing. He over came many obstacles and was very respectful. He worked as a Campbell County Land Surveyor, and had strong work ethics.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmet & Myrtle Jones; brother, George Jones; sister, Juanita Carrera & Zena Wheatley.

Johnnie Duncan age 76 of Oliver Springs, TN passed away Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge, TN. Johnnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and going to flea markets. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall & Cleda Duncan; sister, Grace Elizabeth Duncan; 2 grandsons, Elijah West and Thomas Ray Tupper.

Harold Giles age 89 of Heiskell TN, passed away on Monday August 9, 2010 at the Willow Ridge Care & Rehab Center in Maynardville TN. Mr. Giles  was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church in Clinton, TN. He was a WWII Navy Veteran, a retired mail carrier in the Oak Ridge area.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff for taking great care of their Dad while at Willow Ridge Care and Rehab Center.
