Joy Beth White age 62 of Clinton, TN, passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge,TN.  Joy was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Clinton.  She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Iowa State University and her teaching license from the University of N. Iowa.  Joy loved reading & going to yard sales.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay & Reta Partridge.

Survivors: Husband, Noah White- Clinton,TN;  Sons,  John White-Oregon, WI, James White & Tina-Warner Robins, GA,  Jacob White & Amy- Powell,TN; Daughter-in-law, Valerie White-Beaver Dam, WI; Brother,         Ken Partridge & Kathy-Independence, IA; Grandchildren, Elijah, Anna, Paige, & Elora White, Patrick & Ryan Rowell, Jaclyn & Mackenzie Pope.  Several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kennedy, Coye

Coye Kennedy age 64 of Copperhill, TN formerly of Lake City, Tn, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord and Savior with his family at his side on Saturday, January 21, 2012.  Coye loved hunting, fishing and being outdoors. He was a kind loving soul with a generous heart who never met a stranger.  Coye was a welder and iron worker for many years.  He was of the Baptist faith and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Kennedy; father, Loranzy Kennedy and niece, Laura Cook.  Coye is survived by:  Precious mother, Stella Bunch Kennedy of Lake City, TN;  stepsons, Paul Murphy & Becky & Justin Murphy & Julie all of  Georgia; brothers, Kenneth Kennedy ofLansing,TN; Charlie Kennedy ofNorth Carolina;  Boyd Kennedy ofLake City,TN; Rickey Kennedy & Karen of Briceville,TN;  Lynn Kennedy ofLake City,TN;  sister, Reba Kennedy Cook & Paul ofKnoxville,TN;  nephew;  Robert Cook ofKnoxville,TN;  nieces, Ann & Sue Kennedy;  several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Bessie Hensley age 86 of Clinton, TN passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 atGoldenLivingCenter inClinton,TN. Bessie was a member atSouthClintonBaptistChurch inClinton,TN for over 50 years.

 Bessie is survived by her son, Frank Hensley & wife Susie of Clinton, TN; brother, Ralph Hensley of Oliver Springs, TN; sisters, Pearl Franse of Knoxville, TN, Myrtle Brown of Oliver Springs, TN, 1 grandchild, 1 great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends.

Margaret Blanton age 52 of Knoxville, TN passed away Monday, January 16, 2012 at her residence inKnoxville.  Margaret had a good heart and was always willing to help anybody in need. She enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts and playing games. She was a big animal lover and avid reader.  Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Earline Oberdick; brother, Jack Oberdick and sister, Donna Riddle.  Margaret is survived by her son, Jason Myers of Knoxville,TN;  sisters,  Debbie Howell & husband Alfred of Virginia; Millie Culver & husband Robbie of Arkansas;  Jeannie Oberdick of Knoxville,TN; grandchild,   Jason Myers of Penn.  She also leaves behind several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kathleen Lambert age 60 of Clinton, TN, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2012 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Kathy loved & was loved by many special friends & family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore & Janie Daugherty; brothers, Doyle, Donald, Edmond, Charles, David, & Doug Daugherty & sisters, Dorothy Spradlin & Mary Medlin. Kathleen is survived by husband, David Lambert of Clinton, TN; brothers, Lendon Daugherty of Jacksboro, TN, Curtus Daughertyof Norris, TN; sisters, Betty Blair of Kettering, OH, Jolene Hill of Dayton, OH. Kathleen is also survived by many nieces & nephews whom she loved and treasured.

Kathleen’s family will receive friends on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Oak Ridge Memorial Park Chapel in Oak Ridge, TN from 11am-1pm at their convenience. Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Pastor Randy Townsend officiating. Her entombment will follow the funeral service in the Memorial Park. Georgia Pauline Kelley age 95 of Clinton, TN passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Norris Health and Rehabilitation Center in Norris, TN. Georgia was a member of Charity Baptist Church. She enjoyed writing poems and songs and quilting. Georgia retired from Oak Ridge Hospital and was everyone’s “mother.” She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband James General Kelley; son, James H. Kelley; grandsons, Tyler King and Jeff Kelley; and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by Sons, Carl M. Kelley and Lila of Clinton, TN, Jerry Kelley and Helen of Clinton, TN, Eugene Kelley of Powell, TN; Daughters, Ella Mae Cook and Charles of Clinton, TN, Willie King of Clinton, TN; Sister, Polly Vickery of Clinton, TN, 19 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends.

 Georgia’s family will receive her friends on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 6-8pm with her funeral service following in the Chapel of Jones Mortuary at 8pm with Rev. Chris Thomas and Rev. Ezell, Dewey

Dewey Ezell age 93 of Andersonville, TN passed away Saturday, December 31, 2011 at his residence. at 12:30 A.M.Dewey was of the Baptist faith. He Served in the armed services from 1942 – 1945 and was one of the first infantry men to be on the shores of Normandy in WWII. He was an excellent paint and body man and mechanic, and loved working outdoors. Dewey was employed by TVA, Knoxville Mac, Knoxville Truck Sales and Peterbilt. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bertha (Loy) Ezell; wife, Edna (Foust) Ezell; daughter, Wilma Gail (Ezell) Longshaw; 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews.

Dewey is survived by: sons, Mickey Ezell of Knoxville, TN, Daniel Ezell & wife Andrea of Andersonville, TN; daughters, Faye Martin & husband Steve of Lenoir City, TN, Debi Fairchild & husband Scott of Clinton, TN; step daughter, Kathy Foust. He also leaves behind a very special friend and nephew, Eddie Justice, 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces & nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Dewey’s family will receive his friends on Tuesday, January 3, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM with his funeral service following at 8:00 PM in the chapel of Jones Mortuary with Bro. Robert Jones officiating. His interment will be Wednesday, January 4th at 2:00 PM at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Andersonville, TN with full military honors.

Stacy Lou Hill age 29 of Lake City, TN “WENT HOME” on Thursday, December 29, 2011. Stacy loved to read Psalms 27; it was her favorite passages of scriptures. She will be forever missed. Stacy was preceded in death by her grandfather Hubert Bell.

She is survived by son, Isaiah Hill of Lake City,TN; daughter, Hannah Hill of Lake City,TN; parents, Billy and Patty McMahan of Lake City,TN; brother and fiancé, Michael Hill and Nicole Daniels; grandmother, Claudine Bell Dykes; nephew, Logan Hill; grandparents, Mack & Janie Hill; father, Randy Hill. Stacy also leaves behind half brothers & sister:  Daniel, Matthew, and Tori, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Douglas Burchfield age 50 of Lake City, TN passed away suddenly Friday, December 16, 2011 at his residence. Douglas loved his children and grandchildren and was very proud of his sons serving our country. He enjoyed the outdoors especially fishing. Doug was a child of God, loved going to church and was a member at Lone Mountain Baptist Church in Andersonville, TN. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Burchfield.

Mark Perry Jones age 53 of Wytheville, VA, formerly of Clinton,TN passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at Bristol Regional Medical Center in Bristol, TN. Mark was employed by Kennametal Inc. in Chilhowie, Virginia. Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Jones.

He is survived by his daughter, Karah Jones and son, Conor Jones both of Rochester,Minnesota. He also leaves behind his father, T.N. Jones and sister, Gale Jones both of Clinton,TN in addition to several cousins, aunts and uncles.
